Offer an offline mode for WebPI
Not all servers have a direct connection to the Internet. Should be able to select the target OS, select the components you went to end up with on your server and then have everything to achiieve that get download and bundled into something you can then take to your server (which has no connection to the internet) and install.
LightSwitch documentation current specifies WebPI as the way to prepare your server with PreRequisites. But the server may not have web access.

Keep supported PHP versions updated to latest stable version
By supported I am refering to the versions that are already listed in Web PI and have supported WinChache and SqlDrivers offerings. For example the currently listed 5.4 version is 5.4.9 (released 22-Nov-2012) and on php.net site the current stable version is 5.4.12 (released 21-Feb-2013)

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We are testing the update at the moment and will upgrade to the latest PHP version after verifying everything is working as expected.
Thanks,

Remove old versions of applications from WebPI
Web Platform Installer has a bunch of old applications (IIS 8 Express, etc) that have been replaced (IIS 8 Express RTW, or the multiple Azure SDKs). It would be great to remove or hide these older versions, and just show the most recent version of each install.

Update it to reflect new apps
Excelent tool. I just began to get familiar with and I wanted to create a WordPress page with SQL Server 2012 Express. I though a simple tasks. Well, yes you can do it, but took me some hours to figure out. The procedures and information available is not reflecting Visual Studio 2012, SQL 2012, Windows 8, etc. Should be nice to have an upgrade to reflect the great tools available today from you (Microsoft).

When I try to enable PHP 5.4 in WebMatrix 2 it fails! I don't know what to do?
This is the message I receive in WebMatrix: There was an error resuming the installation.

Let me choose my own local PHP installation
Currently WebMatrix requires PHP to be installed to a certain place. It should let me choose my own install.
