I believe it would be great if F12 developer tools is integrated into webmatrix.

This would make development easier and faster. We just have to click on the dev tab inside webmatrix instead of switching windows, minimizing, maximizing .... It gets on my nerves. It'll also prevent the frustration of having to close the F12 dev tool everytime I navigate to a site I am not developing and switching the tool back on when I navigate back to a site I am developing. Its just annoying

PS. Microsoft should include an option to change the font type and size for the developer tools. The one used presently is just too large (consumes a lot of view space) and just too boring to the eye

I 'Updated' from WebMatrix to WebMatrix 2 today.

I immediately started a new site project by selecting an existing folder. I received a 20 minute hang. The folder was a shared network folder/location; However, this method was routine with the previous WebMatrix version, and had not previously exhibited this issue, neither earlier today, prior to updating, or anytime within the past several months.

Since the project started on the 'site' tab, my next action was to select the Files tab. I received another 20 minute hang.

After successfully adding and modifing several files (and viewing the changes on the site, through my web browser) without incident. I selected the databases tab. Yet again, it hangs, but this time at least 30 minutes.

On top of all of these issues, there are no system error logs, warnings, or information events that coincide with WebMatrix, or these hangs. There is no obvious log system, or file, in the program's folder either.

I'm on a rapidly closing deadline with work, so I don't really have time to be a beta tester for a 'released' WebMatrix 2. This update has turned into a several hour mistake.

can someone answer me if we still have anything to solve crash

Last time (I am not sure but maybe) I open a single file in webmatrix. now I open a new site and found a stange behaviour of webmatrix.

as I seen in past they open the last directory I worked with and show me the file I have tried to open.

this time they make a site "webstie1" in the folder (where I contain my all directories) and make a robot.txt their.

how this happen. If I not opened the site last time then it's should take 2nd last I opened my site ( well , I am not sure)..

I have no idea but these thing look odd to me.

I would like to have readme.txt instead of robot.txt in my project. working with webmatrix means everytime delete this file.

I am not sure but that directory doesn't exist on the disk that have I opened last time so maybe this is a reason of webmatrix 2 create website1 in that directory.
