Remote Settings Export / Save
An option to save or export remote website settings would be very very nice, especially for developers that are supporting a plethora of sites.
I publish on an external hosting company who does not provide a publish settings file, so i manually enter my publish settings.
I do not know where they are saved.
So when i import the Azure Publish setiings, i override the first one and i have to manually re enter it again when publishing again on the hosting company.
Suppose If I give ftp detail to webmatrix their is no way to get it back. like fillzilla give you a option for export ftp in xml format so you can use them in future or backup it.
backup (import, export) feature for ftp details saved in webmatrix ?
Like filezila make able to export all settings in xml file.
I can got my ftp by just giving filezilla xml file and webmatrix will ready to start editing remote file
I can export all ftp in webmatrix that I have used in my past. this way I can add the ftp from filezilla exported file.
This is an excellent idea – we will monitor this for interest.

Although you cannot export the publishing information in WebMatrix Version 2, you can easily access them.
The file is stored at a path similar to this:
Note that the password is encrypted and will only work on the same computer/same user name to preserve your privacy.
You can edit the file to put the password in plain text if you'd like.
Export FTP detail feature.
In Fireftp (firefox plugin) and Filezilla you can use same xml file to import export.
1. Suppose I just know my FTP detail and put them to use through webmatrix.
now their is no way to get them back.
In Filezilla and Fireftp I can import export.
this is something like Webmatrix feature request.
